"Absolutely fabulous! What more could you ask for? Über friendly staff, excellent meals, food on request, and stunning rooms with a view from a hilltop. Lindi and Antony were particularly awesome. It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. "

We opted in for the dinner in the lodge, it was pricy, but had good choice and we even had a separate main course made for us as we are vegetarians. "Were travelling for 4 weeks and consider this lodge to have been the worst value for money. If it had not been for the very friendly manageress Erika, and some very nice fellow guests,we would have felt somewhat fleeced. There was no wildlife around the lodge, i.e. sitting on the terrace offered no viewings, even very little birdlife. Food was at best 3 star and not overly generous. Took 5 hour combo drive and had to pay for all the extras, including water. Not good value for money."

"A beautiful little campsite with three sites. The two owners grew up here and have created a gem. Everything was built with so much love. Ruben, who welcomed me, was very kind and helpful. The Kwando Core Area Park is just a few minutes away by car. Definitely worth to support these local guys "

"Stayed in Tent 1\. Great position for tent close to amenities and great view. Pool was refreshing plunge pool unfortunately filled with noisy children for large amounts of time. Food was fine and service was always great. Curio shop was full of unusual items, hence I gladly spent a fair bit of money there. Excellent views over the waterhole."

"We have stayed at several Gondwana properties and found this to be the best so far. The location is beautiful with a lot space, out chalet was amazing (all recently renovated, along with the main building). The staff were very helpful and made extra effort to accommodate us. If you have the time, do a morning or evening boat ride to explore the river and see the banks of the national park on the other side."

We opted in for the dinner in the lodge, it was pricy, but had good choice and we even had a separate main course made for us as we are vegetarians. "One of the best properties I’ve stayed at recently. Exclusive, luxurious water villas with an exquisite sunset/ national park view. The staff went over and above to celebrate our 10th anniversary there. Their grand welcome and personal attention is unparalleled be it the food or service both were excellent. Everyone from the manager to the guide were knowledgeable and helpful. They don’t leave a single detail out in making your stay perfect, from snacks for the boat ride to binoculars in the room for game drives and painting easel for relaxing late evenings. Their water taxi/ water safari was luxurious with snacks and drinks to cool off in the evening. The meals and massages were amazing. Can’t say enough good things about this place. 100% recommend it for groups and couples alike. Thanks Chobe for the experience! "
