Acacia Premier Hotel

"The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the property was consistently kept clean. However, the furniture in both the guest rooms and public areas, particularly around the poolside, could benefit from an update to better reflect the hotel’s stated star rating. In my opinion, the overall standard of the property is closer to that of a 3.5-star hotel. On a more positive note, the food was consistently delicious. The tilapia dishes served at the poolside grill on the second floor were particularly impressive. The food also appeared to be prepared with great care and attention to hygiene. My father and I ate there daily throughout our stay without experiencing any stomach-related issues, which is noteworthy given our previous travels to rural areas in various countries. Overall, despite the areas that could be improved, this is one of the best hotels in the Kisumu area and, in my opinion, represents one of the strongest accommodation options currently available locally. Almost to mention, the sunset view from the poolside grill bar, is to die for! And the entertainment via nightly themed and promotions are great value for money!"

"Our room was spacious, and came with a working refrigerator and hot pot. We had electrical outlets to the left and right of the bed which was very helpful for all the devices we need to charge. Outside there is wonderful green space so you can ealk around the hotel grounds for exercise. The food was the only drawback. If it was choma, then it was excellent but the regular kitchen was standard fare. All of it took 1-1 1/2 hours to prepare and they didnt take your order till they opened at 6pm so we were eating later than planned given our early morning start time. At times, we were served a few plates and the others came 15-20 minutes later. I would still highly recommend it for all the other features. The staff are EXCELLENT! Someone has taught them customer service!! We were always greeted with smiling helpful staff everywhere throughout the hotel."
