« First time in Sandakan and it was such a refreshing stay before heading to Kinabatangan. What really stood out was the warm, attentive, and informative staff who made everything so easy and welcoming. I also absolutely loved the pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. A comfortable experience overall! »

« Hôtel dans un jardin très nature avec son lac. Très bien situé pour voir les singes. Le restaurant est bien et le personnel sympa. La propreté de la chambre n’est pas au rendez-vous (poussière et toiles d’araignées sous le lit...) »

« It was only a brief stopover before a river cruise so didn't expect much and I guess it met expectations. Area around the hotel was a little dirty and there wasn't much to walk to. Hotel room was basic (fine) and the sheets and floor were clean. Bathroom wasn't as clean. Had a TV but it came with a 2 prong plug ??? Which makes no sense when its a 3 prong country! Breakfast very limited for western palate - no fruit or breaded things apart from toast. Overall as expected - not sure it's 3 star...

« Overall okay. Only thing is the master bedroom aircon which takes awhile to fix. Owner very responsive and provided welcome drinks when arrived. The area is good and quite close to shops. Good to have a car though. »

« The place is very worn down and not particularly clean. There’s a strong, unpleasant, and stuffy smell throughout the building. The escape routes in case of fire seem questionable and not clearly marked. Overall, it feels poorly maintained and unsafe. Definitely not a place I would recommend for families with children. »
