"What a fantastic stay we had. We came for the food (top notch restaurant) but fell in love with the town too. The hotel is brilliantly situated and also has an excellent cafe concession in town. Try the truffle scattered scrambled eggs. At the hotel, we had a 7 course dinner of dreams. Staff couldn't have been nicer. There is a lovely spa area in the basement too."

"We loved the actual property. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was great.The location was interesting, right opposite 99 Cannelle which was something we most wanted to see. We weren't far from the historic center by car. Our only issue was finding the hotel since the road that every single navigation app guided us to was closed and many of the streets around the hotel were one way. Getting there to check-in and then again after we'd had dinner downtown were incredibly stressful. We forgot...

Close to natural and fresh air. good place to get downtown to the very local life. better drive there otherwise difficult to travel. i drove, so it was pretty nice. "We booked a stay at this hotel based on reviews and photos but to be honest we did not even check in. When we arrived, we walked up the "hill" to the entrance and there was literally no sign of life. Doors and windows were shut - we did not see any people or hear noises. We did not even see a store of any kind. My apologies to the host, but when we arrived, we saw a sign "be back soon" and we decided this was not the place for us to stay. The accommodations looked inviting and comfortable...

"The Grande Albergo was past it's best, the rooms were worn and the bathroom was dropping to bits. The air conditioning was centrally operated and probably twenty years past it's peak. On the positive side, the staff (Marco) was great and the location perfect."

"Loved the hotel, it was very clean. Staff was super friendly. Convenient location right by train station, bus station, and taxi stop. No complaints. There were even some good food options in the area. Also, close to grocery stores. Had a very good experience."
