"The Hotel is very large in size and the staff were very pleasant and helpful organising a driver to take us out of the area to visit all the places of interest we would not see otherwise. Kurunegela itself is not geared up for tourism and is more your local town. So there is a need to travel out. The Hotel is tired with the decor and carpets needing to be replaced and an overall update required. The restaurant choices are limited and overall the Hotel and the area does not cater for europeans"

"Es war einfach phantastisch, äusserst gepflegte Anlage mit grossem Garten, vielen Palmen und Bäume mit grossem infinity Pool. Das Haus ist ein Schmuckstück der Extraklasse, der Service zuvorkommend und freundlich und das Essen gut. Die Kommunikation auf englisch hat nicht immer geklappt aber der Wille war immer da und die Hilfsbereitschaft. Ich hoffe ich kann wiederkommen"

"We had 2 rooms: one smelled terrible. Both beds were comfortable when you laid on them; one had bed bugs which we didnt sleep on. Room 104 smelled terrible, even after the staff "cleaned" the room again. When we complained to the manager, he said he didnt smell anything wrong. The hotel agreed to change our rooms the, then changed their minds, then gave me the key after I insisted they do so (long protracted argument) . Room 103 was ok, but staff and drivers were outside the window below...

"A very nice, quiet, cozy, clean and high-quality place. A large, spacious room with a comfortable bed, chairs, a balcony with a stunning view and hot water in the shower. In addition, comfortable seating outside the room, delicious breakfasts and laundry services. Beyond that - the hotel staff is courteous, pleasant, caring and welcoming. Recommended hotel!"
