![The Black Forest house(German: Schwarzwaldhaus) is a byre-dwelling that is found mainly in the central and southern parts of the Black Forest in southwestern Germany. It is characterised externally by a long hipped or half-hipped roof that descends to the height of the ground floor. This type of dwelling is suited to the conditions of the Black Forest: hillside locations, broad tracks, high levels of snowfall and heavy wind loading. Individual farms, such as the Hierahofnear Kappel, which are still worked today, are over 400 years old. "The hotel was perfectly fine for the price—no problems at all. The staff were wonderful, especially the very kind gentleman working on Monday morning. My only issue is the location; it’s pretty secluded, and getting to and from Europa-Park was inconvenient. The breakfast was nothing special but totally acceptable. Overall, a good stay for what you pay, but I’d personally prefer to stay somewhere closer to the park next time."

"Very clean apartment, plenty of space for two small families or one large family. Loved the LED lighting. Staff were very friendly; from the desk worker to the bartender. Parking was also really easy even with a seemingly busy hotel. "

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed during our visit to Strasbourg Christmas Markets early December. The hotel is very clean, and across the street from Tram D station which take you to the main attractions in Strasbourg in less than 20 minutes. That was the big plus for us. The breakfast buffet has a large variety (In my case, I would request to add Decaf coffee to the list). Check in and check out is all digital, but there is someone at the front desk most of the time. They allowed us to leave our luggage early during check in. There are restaurants and supermarkets around. Overall a nice stay and a great hotel to do what we needed to do."
