« The main attraction was the Mexican restaurant with bar attached (and happy hour, which never disappoints). While there wasn't actually a lot of Mexican food on the menu, what was there was very good. A couple of biscuits in the room with coffee would be good. Convenience - room/restaurant/bar was the big factor. »

« Easy drive off and back on to the motorway. Room was great i hired a cabin. Check in was super easy. Wait till you meet Kym definitely with a Y and Pieta (its pronounced Peta not Pieta or Pie Ta and Just Jo they are just fully awesome. Beach is 5min walk, creek is less. Shops are 14km away if you forget anything. Definitely going back. Actually was a nice half way point between Brisbane and Newcastle »

« Lovely reception from the owner, who was very informative about local places to visit, eat and fish. Room had everything we needed for our 3 night stay, including a portable stove. Outside had a bbq with everything needed to cook on it. We also had a lovely farewell from the owner as we were leaving. »

« While the cabin we stayed in was quite dated, the overall park is great with a big pool area and free games such as putt putt, chess and a pool table. The amenities are good, especially the big kitchen and BBQ area. »

« Sam and Brian have created a truly amazing place. Their eye for detail internally and in the outdoor and garden surrounds is exceptional. The photos and description do not do the place justice. The cabin is a large 1 bedroom. The birdlife and stars are incredible. It's a secluded property at the end of a cul-de-sac where your outlook is to beeautiful green paddocks with views to the wooded mountain range. the beach is a 5 minute drive away. Best of both worlds. Just a wonderful place to stay....
