Vi bookede et dobbelt deluxe-værelse på Guitar Bay, som nu har skiftet navn til Grand Bay. Desværre levede værelset på ingen måde op til beskrivelsen ved booking.
Der stod blandt andet, at værelset skulle indeholde:
Gratis toiletartikler – det var der ikke.
Fjernsyn – det var der ikke.
Køleskab – det var der ikke.
Siddeområde – det var der ikke.
Daglig rengøring – det blev ikke udført.
Der skulle være varmt vand – det var der...

« One or maybe the best hotel with pool at the beach in Arumgambay.
The rooms are rather small and basic but OK compared to other places.
A fridge would be a nice addition though.
The bathroom is also small and basic, and we had a lot of ants the first days (but that is kinda everywhere).
The WIFI was "so-so" but that was kinda everywhere in Sri Lanka (better off buying a SIM-card).
The service and staff was excellent and everyone was helpfull and service-minded. Big thanks to the older yoga...

« Do not believe the “luxury” marketing — a neglected, freezing, disorganised stay
We booked Kottukal Beach House expecting the “luxury boutique villa” experience advertised. What we got was closer to an abandoned property. There is no sign on the gate, so we drove straight past it down the dirt road and had to double back — other reviewers have mentioned similar difficulty finding the place, but a hotel charging luxury prices should not require a treasure hunt.
