"I had a mostly pleasant stay at this centrally located, highly walkable hotel. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the staff is lovely. The restaurant food is good – however I was disappointed by the lack of authentic Guyanese options on the dinner menu, the hotel itself is short on amenities if you get stuck inside on a rainy day. However, I cannot recommend this hotel due to their billing practices. I booked a 'Pay at Hotel' rate via Expedia. At check-in, they indicated their machines could not charge in USD and they would convert into Guyanese Dollars (GYD). Rather than using the market rate, they used their own inflated fixed exchange rate. This arbitrary double-conversion resulted in almost $400 more than I agreed to pay according to my Expedia itinerary. I will not return to this hotel, as I have no confidence in there billing practices. If you choose to stay here, I highly recommend prepaying your reservation in full so you don't get hit with inflated exchange rates at the front desk."

"Room was clean. AC was good in the room Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly. Thanks to Anisa who helped us at Breakfast. She always had a smile. Malissa and Alvin were very pleasant throughout the booking and check-in process. All in all a very pleasant experience. Recommend Caribbean Inn. "

"the room was very clean, bathroom nicely tiled, and was spacious - hot water to shower was abundant. Parking was good and the owner allowed me to park on the hotel's front driveway. Very close to banks. GRA is one straight drive on camp street. I didn't like the breakfast - only took the breakfast one day - the other days I ate out (not a problem for me)"

"The breakfast needs improvement to include more authentic to the Guyanese cuisine. Additionally, the guests were not given priority when it comes to eating accommodations. They sold the breakfast daily to outsiders…. Mother's day was a mess.. Guest atvtye hotet did not have access to receive breakfast. Overall the rooms were clean and well kept."

"The property is nice and clean. Staffs are helpful but a bit slow with the service on the main floor. Miguel in the main restaurant gave us an excellent service. Very attentive. We like the hotel so much that we booked another 2 days next week when we come back to Georgetown."

"The property is generally clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but I was glad to have pumpkin and roti. Coffee was of the instant variety, and my preference is brewed. Location is right in providence. I thought the design of the premises was strange. The only window in the room i stayed in is in the bathroom. The room was cold even after i turned off the air conditioning upon arrival, which i found strange. Walking to the only amenities offered, that are the pool and restaurant, were likewise unusual. No elevator, and walking to the amenities seemed like an exploration into the unknown. The price was low relatively speaking for Guyana these days. The pool area looked like it was under construction and could be a highlight if they added a swim up bar and music. "
