"The only plus point was the location in this property. I am a returning guest and came back here after a gap of 10 years and experienced a massive let down in terms of hotel services. My last experience was charming which made me book this hotel again but this time the experience was terrible. Service by the staff was late and not responsive most of the time. The bathroom was not clean, amenities were in bad state and quality and the food at the in house restaurants were overpriced looking at the service standard and staff efficiency. They are charging 5 star price for a 2 -3 star property. It’s very sad because the property has so much potential but lack proper management."

"This is a great place to stay in Kumbakonam. The property is large and has many interesting features. The staff are good. I will visit again possibly in winter. I have only 2 negatives to say - 1\. I had ordered a Beetroot soup and it was almost cold and the quantity was not impressive too. Was just not fair to charge for this. 2\. Next day morning breakfast \[This was a solo visit\] ... no one bothered to ask me for dosa or coffee. Was pathetic. Overall, I was not impressed by restaurant and value for money in the restaurant. Next time I will never eat here there are better places like Mangalambika nivas, Gowrikrishna etc. For a vegetarian like me to eat idly and dosa...i need not spend a fortune here. Moreover, things like soup were very disappointing."
