« One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed In over the last 20+ years of frequent travel. First, there is not enough parking in the motel as it appeared many guests are living there. So you have to park in the overflow across the street, not the end of the world but not ideal. Also, upon arrival, we noticed one side of the building was completely caved in from an apparent vehicle ramming and caution taped off. Again, not earth shattering, but not a great aesthetic either. « Did not like all the ad ons to the base room rate. Valet service was slow. Delivery of luggage to room took too long. Initial room AC didn't work properly so I changed rooms. Friday dinner buffet excludid a la carte ordering and did show on the on line menu. I moved to the noisy lounge for dinner. Martha's market had terrific scones and pastries. New room was quiet and amenities were fine. Beautiful scenery when walking around the resort »

« The location was great, nice coffee shop across the street for breakfast. The unit was generally clean, but the corners and window ledges were a bit dirty. There is an issue with the little ladybug like beetles. Also, there was leftover animal hair on the furniture from a prior guest with a pet. Nothing problematic enough to contact the host while there. The mattresses were VERY firm, so they weren’t ideal for my husband and I. « We recently spent 3 nights at the Tower View apartment--an upgrade offered by the owner, as the Stream View apartment occupant wished to extend his stay. What a lovely apartment it is! « A better experience than we could ever have hoped for. The house and location are gorgeous with lots of deer sightings. The kitchen had just about everything we needed to prepare all our meals. We stayed for a week and still didn’t manage to take advantage of all the amenities offered (fireplace, outdoor fire pit, boardgames, etc.). « We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
