« Unknown to us, this hotel canceled the reservation we had made through Expedia. At check-in they told us we didn’t have a reservation and they were full and had no room for us. This left us stranded in an area with very little lodging options (few properties and all had no vacancy). « This is a nice, small, and very clean motel. The manager was nice and helpful. I stayed more than one night and have no complaints. Parking is available on site as well as next door. A large, well known gas station chain has a location right next door and Ashland has a lot to offer when it comes to food and drink options. I suggest going downtown to check out all the amazing murals on some of the buildings and go see the sites and view of the lake. I have been to Ashland more than once and...

« Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable! »

« Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area. »
