"The Hotel Maria Manuela is great; nice rooms, and the Spa is excellent. Located at Benia de Onis, is a great option off the beaten path, surrounded by nature; the food at the restaurants across the Hotel is amazing. Do not leave without visiting the store next door to the hotel where they sell local cheese, iberico ham, bread and of course Cider. "

"Wonderful Parador in huge 18th C monastery. Superbly restored, big, well equipped rooms. Fabulous old library. Excellent restaurant. Big car park. Surrounding area very scenic. An hour or so drive to Oviedo. "

"Overall we were satisfied with the room and staffs. Spacious, clean, nice bathtub, but the bed was too soft to sleep well for us. "

"Great place. Historic building dating back several hundred years, very tastefully now a Parador. Everything was immaculate, staff were great. Excellent wine @4 euro per glass. Breakfast was amazing. Cava, fruit, breads meats, cheeses, cakes, pastries, cooked options etc etc. Dinner was equally good. Definitely one to come back to."

"Our room was in a bad state of repair, the restaurant menu was not that appealing, the first time we have been offered tripe in a 4* hotel menu. This hotel should be rated 3* not a 4*"
