Crab Island! This is the island life you've been looking for. Three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhome located directly on the Destin harbor in Holiday Isle. A private boat slip is available for your use during your stay, so bring your own boat or plan to rent from one the many local rental companies. There are also many fishing charters, dolphin cruises, sunset cruises, and tiki boat cruises to choose from. For your convenience there is a water taxi that can pick you up right off the dock at the property to take you across the harbor to many of the restaurants and attractions that Destin is known for. Harbor Haven has a beautiful view of the harbor and Destin bridge & even has a small sandy beach. There is an open floor plan for the living room, kitchen, dining area, and half bath on the first two floors. Two bedrooms on the next floor share a large bathroom and have king size beds and smart tv's mounted on the wall. The entire lower level is the Master suite with a private bath, seating area, full size washer and dryer and lots of space to spread out. Glass doors lead from the Master suite onto the patio making it easy to slip out there for morning coffee or to enjoy the sunrise if you wake early enough. If you want a lazy morning, you can open the blinds and enjoy the water view from bed! Harbor Haven is located in Holiday Isle, which Is a serene oasis in the middle of Destin, with 2 and a half miles of paved trails for walking and biking, surrounded by quiet neighborhoods perfect for exploring on a bike. You'll feel like you're away from it all, when actually you're only minutes away from restaurants, shopping, marinas, fishing, golf, and local amusements, such as Big Kahuna Waterpark. An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties and the Destin Pass, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor. Close by is Destin Commons, which features over 75 shops, restaurants and AMC Movie Theaters. If you can tear yourself away from the beautiful harbor view, it's only a short 2 blocks to the public O'Steen beach access. Harbor Haven is convenient to the shops, bars and restaurants in Harborwalk Village, Crab Island, Big Kahuna waterpark, grocery stores, shopping and delicious restaurants and many other amenities that Destin has to offer. There is an impressive fireworks display every Thursday night in the spring and summer season, and you have the best seat in the area to watch from the deck or patio. Dolphin cruises are fun or you may see dolphins in the afternoon and evening from your own chair right here at Harbor Haven! There is a full kitchen with all the amenities for cooking meals at home to enjoy on the outdoor deck overlooking the water while seated at the Polywood dining table that seats 6 and has a large umbrella for shade. There is also a Weber charcoal grill for cooking your favorite foods while taking in the breathtaking harbor views. The beds were extremely comfortable. This condo was not for us due to the lack of privacy and distance to a small part of the beach. The neighbors are very friendly, but your all very close together. I was under the impression it had a small area for our dog to go out, but it’s actually across the street and the neighbors dogs have access to your patio. It was a short walk to the beach (by the jetty’s) where lifeguards were on duty. There is plenty of room in the house and the lower bedroom has a sliding door to the back patio. The neighbors on both sides were extremely friendly and Ms. Eve was the highlight of the stay. She pointed us in the right direction with everything. We can’t wait to stay here again! ##### Travis D. This condo is in the perfect spot and has all the convinces of home. Although we come to Destin every summer, it was AMAZING to have our whole family (grown children and spouses) all in one place. The boat slip was a HUGE PLUS it allowed us to enjoy the harbor, the gulf and crab island daily. It was convenient to have a hose at the end of the day to rinse our boat and equipment. Christie was a fantastic host! This property is one of our favorites and my family has been coming to Destin for over 20 years. If you have a boat, don’t second guess booking this place. The view of the harbor is amazing and it’s such a quick boat ride to crab island and the surrounding beaches. And you can enjoy live music from across the harbor on the weekends from the deck. The neighbors are long time owners and were very friendly. The beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. There are a lot of steps but Christie did warn us of this and it really wasn’t a problem at all. That was more than offset by the beautiful location! Our family of 5 (3 teen boys) enjoyed the property. With the private boat dock access, the beach across the street (about a 10 min walk) and a short distance to grocery stores and restaurants made the property a great location for us. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable! Verizon cell service was strong and there were plenty of TV channel options. Having dinners and watching the sunset was a family favorite.
