Great place for a beach vacation! Location is perfect for walking out to the beach and having the chair and umbrella rental is really convenient - as is the beach shack restaurant within a very short walk! The condo itself was clean, well appointed, and met the description in the listing. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of space. We really enjoyed our trip to Destin and highly recommend staying here

We enjoyed a long MLK weekend stay in Destin at Sandpiper Cove. The community has become our favorite location in Destin as the properties are always as advertised and the management is easy to access and quick to respond on things.

Location is perfect! Kids spent hours playing directly off the deck in the sand & the pool was just a short walk across the street. Beautiful views from the deck. Also super convenient to have access to free beach chairs & umbrella all set up for you! We will definitely be back!

Thanksgiving 2024

Spent the week of Thanksgiving and had a great time. Plenty of room for me, my wife, our 2 sons (19 & 16) and our Shih Tzu. I it was clean and cozy with easy access to the beach. Our boys enjoyed getting in a couple rounds of golf too. Couldn’t ask for better weather for the end of November. We spent 4 of our 5 days there at the beach! Will definitely book again.

Lovely condo

This was a very nice condo with a view of the sand dune and partial view of the ocean. One issue we had was on very windy days the front door whistled continuously. And one day the heated pool--across the street from the part of the complex we stayed at--was broken and closed. Overall we would recommend this property.

Fantastic stay

My family and I had an incredible week. The condo is in the PERFECT spot. We have a 4 and 2 year old that loved playing in the sand right outside the back patio. The condo is only a few yards away from the ocean. Only complaint is the front door does not have a lock or deadbolt. This made it a little difficult to keep my two year old from opening the door.

Great late summer vacation. Very clean, well equipped. No dresser in master but had several hangers-maybe bring a few with you. Loved the on site beach bar and grille. Don’t skip The Ice Cream Shop nearby. Beach access right out back porch was great and beach service of umbrella/chairs was excellent. Wish I could have re-entered unit from back door after a beach day-must walk around to front door keypad. Entire property quiet in the evenings. Felt very safe with 3 girls coming and going to the beach. Overall great stay.

Central, Cozy and Comfortable

Overall, my family had a great stay at this property. We needed a change of scenery from our house after spending the first 3 months stuck inside with our newborn baby. We wanted a place that felt as comfortable as home with a better view. Pros of this property: Central location in Destin, close to restaurants / bars / stores, cozy and comfortable, easy beach access, nice balcony with views, big tvs, and newly renovated interior. Pet friendly! Cons: king mattress could be more comfortable (I left with a killer crick in my neck and back), we noticed a few bugs throughout our stay (could be due to rainy weather), and there was a weird dust/film blowing around the unit (probably needs an air filter change). We noticed dust and sand on our baby’s bottles immediately after washing them, which was not sanitary. We requested maintenance but they never showed up. Other things to note: the onsite bar is cash only (in 2024 seriously!?), the grounds are dog friendly but the beach is not, sandpiper cove is a huge group of condos…plenty to choose from if this unit doesn’t fit your needs.

Our family had an amazing stay at Sandpiper Cove! From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much care goes into this property. It was incredibly clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and every space was cozy and welcoming. The best part was definitely the location. The beach is just a short walk away, and it’s absolutely stunning. The soft white sand and crystal-clear emerald water are even more beautiful in person. We loved spending our days on the beach and coming back to relax on the terrace, which has gorgeous views that made every morning and evening feel special. Another thing we really appreciated was being so close to great restaurants, shops, and family attractions. Everything was just a few minutes away, which made getting around so easy. The pool was also a great bonus for the days when we wanted a break from the ocean. Overall, this was one of the best family vacations we’ve had. The condo was spotless, comfortable, and in the perfect location. We made so many wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to enjoy everything Destin has to offer, I highly recommend Sandpiper Cove. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a great location in Destin. Really liked the view and we appreciate these pet friendly units. Everything was in order so there were no surprises. I will say the pots/pans need to be replaced. I get it’s a rental but a new set along with more silverware is needed.
