Exactly what we needed!

Loved this condo - it was perfect for my family's stay in Destin. The furniture and beds were comfortable, the view and balcony were a highlight, and everything was clean. The resort is starting to feel it's age, but the pools and common areas are maintained well. My only complaint is that there were hardly any consumable items in the apartment. Detergent for one load of laundry, 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people on a 6-night stay, no oil or salt or anything basic for cooking. I would have liked to see a few more items stocked in the condo for guests.

Beach Birthday Trip

Went with my girlfriends for our annual beach trip and it was a great time! The pool and hotel were beautiful! Great to have a coffee and bar/restaurant in case you need to grab anything. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice condo with view of pool and Gulf!

Loved everything about this stay and would def stay again. Condo was exactly as pics. Bedding and sheets were cleaned and comfortable. Just could use some detail cleaning of base boards and corners. Otherwise no complaints and awesome layout for a family of 4!

Great View! Great Ping!

First the master shower issue that you have read on other reviews. Tilt the shower head as low as possible, block the back wall of shower with the shower curtain. Place a towel on outside of tub in that corner and all should be good. Great water pressure for getting all that sand off! The beds are so, so comfortable. My 13 y/o raved about the great internet and “the Ping was amazing”! The condo had everything we needed. The pool is huge. It was a wonderful week!

Not what we expected

I called to verify that the property we were renting had 2 king beds. After being told yes, we booked. When we arrived we discovered there was only 1 king & the bed in the 2nd room was a full that they called a queen. I called as soon as we checked into the room. They told me they check what could be done and never called back. This was particularly disappointing considering they were calling me 4 times before we even checked in to see if they could schedule a walk through by the new property owner during our stay! I also had to call for housekeeping immediately because there was what looked like a fresh fecal stain on the couch, pubic hair on the bathroom towel, & also in the bed! They knew all of this and never once got back with me! Not to mention the tub never drained properly and I had to rewash the dishes before we used them because they were dirty in the cabinets. I will definitely not rent here again!

Enjoyed our stay!

We loved the decor and the area of the room/resort. Best pool around! Shuttle service was very nice. Only negative we had was that we couldn’t shower in the main shower. The shower head sprays the inside wall and all the water runs down the back to the floor and flooded the bathroom floor. Outside of that we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

So peaceful

Although the weather didn't cooperate and we had double red flags, the Palms Resort made up for. We literally never needed to leave the pool!

Well everything is ok just be mad with the towels not enough and need still washer and not coffee and sugar just coffee machine??? Paper towel not enough just one for each bathroom?

Disappointed

The overall "resort" was run down and the gym was NASTY! Our shower in the master bath never drained properly and the door to the patio from our bedroom was extremely hard to open.
