Situated in the heart of the Crystal Beach area of Destin and less than 1/2 mile from Destin Commons shopping, movie theater, and grocery stores. The Villa Coyaba complex exudes luxury and beauty. With top-notch amenities such as the stunning pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, a luxurious exercise facility and gas grill area, this complex will not disappoint. With four well-appointed bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a bunk nook, this unit accommodates twelve comfortably. One of the most desirable features of this unit is the family chef kitchen complete with Viking appliances that include a very large refrigerator, gas range and oven. The kitchen looks out into the dining nook with a table that seats six with three barstools at the breakfast bar. The open floor plan flows directly into the living room with a sofa and three comfortable chairs that face the 55in Flat screen TV and gas fireplace. The uncompromising gulf views of this unit make it truly unique to this complex. Adjacent to the living room you will find the master suite overlooking the gulf with a king-sized bed and flat screen TV. Going into the luxurious master bath there is a very large walk-in closet. The enormous master bathroom is complete with a dual vanity, large, jetted garden tub, private water closet and exceptional walk-in shower with multiple showerheads. Down the hall from the master bath there is one king bedroom and are one queen bedroom with a jack-and-jill bath that has a shower-tub combination, sink and toilet. Each room comes complete with a flat screen TV. On the other side of the hall there is a double queen room that sleeps four with an adjoining bathroom that contains a shower-tub combo, sink and toilet. Sharing the hallway entrance to the double queen bedroom, guests will find a private bunk nook with two twin beds. Adjacent to the bunk nook, there is a separate laundry room with plenty of storage. One of the best features of this unit is the expansive corner balcony overlooking the gulf and the large pool and grill area. The balcony has a dining table that seats six and two lounger chairs. Only four units in the entire complex have the western corner view and this view will not disappoint. Along with the balcony, the amenities in this complex are what set-it apart from the other complexes in Crystal Beach. A large, heated pool overlooks the sugar-white sands and crystal-clear water of the Gulf of Mexico. The pool area includes plenty of lounger chairs and umbrellas for the perfect sunbathing experience. Adjacent to the pool is the grill area, with professional grade stainless steel gas grills, perfect for summer cookouts. The state-of-the-art workout facility allows for guests to work off the abundance of spectacular restaurants the area has to offer. The corner unit felt very private, quiet and safe for littles. The hosts were responsive to every need and had great contacts for area adventures and even a family photographer recommendation! We loved the well maintained pool area and private cabanas set up for us everyday on the beach…with food and drink service offered on the beach! The area offers a large outdoor mall with an kiddie water feature and excellent grocery stores are within 1 mile (although summer humidity will make walking a challenge for those used to drier climates). The host was gracious and allowed us to check in early when the villa was ready, as we had an early flight arrival with small children, and we really appreciated that. The villa was very spacious and had more than enough room to accommodate our family of 12\. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed except for cleaning supplies. The location is great, and the very short walk to the absolutely beautiful beach was very helpful with the kiddos. I don’t like to give negative comments, however I have to be honest…. Our bare feet were black the very first night because even thought it isn’t visible, the floors were very dirty. There was no cleaning supplies at all provided, so I called for some cleaner and a mop and they had some spray cleaner and a microfiber swiffer type dust mop delivered that day. It was fine for a surface clean, however there was no way to lift the dirt with that type of mop. When we were checking out, I saw the same type of non dirt lifting mop in the cleaning lady’s cart. This explained why the floors are so dirty. Every day our feet were black. The two chairs in the living room were very stained and worn. One of the large windows in the living room had no blind or window covering of any kind, so we had no privacy in the main living space in the evenings. One of the bedroom doors didn’t lock and the walls need some painting. The host provided only one towel and washcloth per guest for the week so we had to constantly do laundry. There were absolutely no cleaning supplies whatsoever. The bed in the king suite sloped downward on one side so I had to sleep in the middle of the bed so I didn’t slide off. I just think for the price of this villa, the cleanliness, condition and accommodations should be a lot better. With all that said, if you’re looking for a spacious place right on the beach, and you’re not bothered by anything I’ve mentioned, then this is the perfect place! ##### Regina K.
