Welcome to this newly renovated 10th floor condo at Pelican Beach, Destin! Step out onto the balcony and take in an impressive view of the sandy white beach and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Both the view and the location make #1009 one of the premier condos at Pelican Beach.

Our living area is designed with a comfortable beach vibe and offers cushy seating, a sleeper sofa, a large HDTV, and sliding glass door to the balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to whip up a meal, and there is dining seating for 4 plus breakfast bar seating for 4. The spacious bedroom suite is furnished with a king bed and offers an adjoining master bath with a tub/shower combination. There is a built-in hallway bunk with two twin beds, lighting and storage. An additional hallway bathroom offers a walk-in shower.

Pelican Beach is located directly on the beach and is centrally located to all the dining and entertainment Destin is famous for including spas, shopping, golf, fishing, Big Kahunas Water Park (within walking distance) and more! The resort offers three swimming pools including an indoor/outdoor swim through pool and a kiddie pool, tennis, hot tub, huge sun deck, beachfront grills, fitness center, upgraded cable and super high-speed internet, on-site cafe and market, secure entry with guard attendants, and convenient parking. Check in is easy – just park, unload, and let yourself in!

Great Getaway

The view from our balcony was amazing! We watched the water change from a placid green to a tumultuous, white-capping sea as Hurricane Idalia hit the Florida coast to the south of us. The moon on the water with lightning in the distance was a photographer’s dream.

Pelican has a great cafe and the balcony view is perfect! The outdoor furniture isn’t fancy, but it’s functional! The couch is dated, but it’s still comfy (we didn’t use the pull out). My kids loved the bunk beds, and we found the king bed comfortable. If bringing littles, the dishes are all glass, but that’s the only thing we found lacking in the kitchen.

We had a great time. The Resort is very nice, it has 3 heated pools and 2 Hot Tubs. The Resort has recently been all repainted. Our condo we had was clean , we had a problem with a kitchen appliance and they were out within the hour to fix it. The property manager was so kind and easy to communicate and contact. This particular unit needs a New Couch!!! Everything in the kitchen and bathrooms was good. I would love to see some beach decorations in the bedroom. We will stay there again because of the team and the lived the resort.

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was exactly as pictured, and was perfect for 2 people. Anymore people would have been a different experience. View from balcony was amazing. Kitchen was short on forks, so if more than 2 people rent the unit, bring some silverware or you will be washing them frequently. The dishwasher was SUPER NOISY, very loud. Suggest running it when you are leaving the unit for a couple of hours. No big issues at all, just some helpful hints. The grounds were very clean, front desk staff were very pleasant. Would definitely rent here again
