Grand old hotel - massive lobby with many cosy sitting areas. Room were a little small but nice bathrooms. A bit dark if you’re trying to make up.

View and service were amazing. There is a bus station in front of the hotel parking from Lijiang old Town. The bus will stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge first, then ending at this hotel. We've spent a night here then took another bus direct to Shangri La the next day.

Holiday Inn Express Shangri La by IHG
It was good in very good condition and just in the city center with many place to hang out around the hotel

Cloudhaven Retreat (花开花落半山居)
Access to the hotel needs to be clarified at the lower entrance. And the hotel name - Cloudhaven Retreat (花开花落半山居) needs to be updated. The hotel is using another name right now.

None of the staff spoke English. Very hard to communicate. Staff was friendly but clueless on how to deal with visitors from outside of China Food offerings were limited.
