With its picture-perfect pink façade and thatched roof, this delightful cottage offers a warm and welcoming escape for couples, friends, small families and golfers alike. Owned by the same family since the 1980s, Raspberry Cottage is a much loved family home, full of character and thoughtful touches. In recent years, the rear of the cottage has been carefully renovated, adding two modern shower rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs are two comfortable and thoughtfully decorated bedrooms. One boasts a king size bed and the other a double with an optional single day bed, ideal for children or teens. Outside, a sunny large garden and big patio area is a quiet spot to unwind with your morning coffee or an evening drink while enjoying views of the surrounding countryside. Your four legged friends will love it too, with plenty of footpaths from your door leading into miles of open farmland. Whether you are wandering to the local pub just down the road or exploring further afield, this is a truly peaceful corner of Kent. The location couldn’t be more perfectly placed for day trips. A short drive brings you to the charming seaside town of Deal, with its pebbled beach, pier, and abundance of independent shops and eateries. Dover Castle and the iconic White Cliffs are nearby for history lovers and walkers alike. Families will adore Betteshanger Park or White Mill Aqua Park for outdoor adventure, while just minutes from the cottage lies Solley’s Ice Cream Farm - complete with a bar, events and local produce shop. Raspberry Cottage is a place you will want to return to, time and time again. Perfectly positioned and full of character, it captures everything we love about the Kent countryside. Property Description Entrance Entrance is via the back, through the kitchen door. Kitchen Well-equipped kitchen with double oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. Underfloor heating. Shower rooms Off the kitchen are two shower rooms, next door to one another. Walk in showers, wc and hand basins in both. Dining room Dining room with table and 6 chairs. Chest with dog bowls, games and toys for children. WiFi router. Sitting room Cosy sitting room with a two sofas (one of which is a sofa bed), armchair, mirror, chest, Smart TV, coffee table. The fireplace is not in use. Garden Patio with outdoor table and benches and lawn area. First floor Bedroom One - sleeps 2, with Kingsize bed, bedside tables and lamps, built in cupboard, separate wardrobe, chest of drawers and tall mirror. Bedroom Two - sleeps 2, with Double bed, bedside tables and lamps, built in cupboard and single (3ft) day bed. Parking You can park at the cottage (space for 2 cars) in the private car parking space to the side of the cottage. Pet friendly Things You Need to Know Towels and linen are provided. Dogs are welcome. Please note additional pet charges are £25 each per stay. There are dog bowls, blankets and treats provided. There is a garden to the rear with seating. Please note that this is not enclosed. Wi-Fi access. Underfloor heating and electric heating throughout. One travel cot and high chair available on request. Guests must bring linen for the cot. There is a pull out single bed (3ft) in one of the double rooms, for a guest. The cottage can sleep up to 5 guests maximum. Pub within a 2 minute walk of the property. House Rules We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit. Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests. Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside or outside the property at any time. Please no charging of vapes or e-scooters. Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house. For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property. Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am. Deal is tien minuten rijden, de cliffs of Dover vijftien. Het is ook praktisch dat er een eigen oprit is. Het huisje is niet groot maar wel netjes en praktisch en voor ons tweeën en onze hond prima. De keuken is ruim maar heeft als nadeel dat het er flink tocht boven de badkamers waardoor het er niet echt aangenaam warm te krijgen was. Wij waren er met de jaarwisseling en toen was het koud en stond er een flinke wind wat niet bevordelijk is voor de temperatuur in de keuken. Daarentegen zijn de eetkamer en woonkamer wel warm. Buiten de wintermaanden zal dit niet zo’n probleem zijn. Een wasmachine zou een welkome aanvulling zijn. ##### Rosita E. Séjour de 7 nuits en décembre 2025
