Monterey is a beautiful apartment situated close to Dawlish town centre and various coastal paths; it is well furnished and has the most breathtaking seaviews. Definitely hope to stay again.
We had an awesome stay at this property. Communication with host was excellent. The location was very good, right on the beach with daily kite surfing to watch from our pool. The house was very comfortable and had everything needed for a great stay. When we did stay inside, the air conditioning worked great in all rooms of the house(there is no AC in one of the four bedrooms, but we only needed three). Jenny, the housekeeper, was a complete joy. She cooked for us several days and it was always fantastic. She was very helpful and always cheerful. We also used the driver recommended by our host, Joel. He was always on time, quite knowledgeable, and very friendly. Given the roads and local drivers, we highly recommend using a driver rather than renting a vehicle of your own.The one cautionary issue is that the beds and linens are not very comfortable. This was not enough of an issue for us to lower our overall rating of the house, but it may be a significant concern for some. We provided the feedback directly to the host as well.Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this property and would recommend it.
