Tucked away on a private, wooded lot in the exclusive Old Timberline Gated Community, this warm and welcoming home is the ideal retreat for families looking to reconnect and explore the outdoors. With plenty of space for multiple families, five bedrooms, and cozy common areas, there’s room for everyone to spread out and feel right at home. From morning coffee on the deck to s’mores around the fire pit at night, this house is made for making memories.
Adventure is never far with year-round activities right outside your door. Enjoy access to miles of community hiking trails, two scenic lakes perfect for fishing or canoeing, and a private entry to Dolly Sods for backcountry hikes. In the winter, hit the slopes with Timberline Mountain just 2.5 miles away, or explore Canaan Valley Resort, White Grass Cross Country, and the Blackwater Falls sled run — all within a short drive.
Back at the house, unwind in the outdoor hot tub, fire up the gas grill for a family cookout, or relax by the fireplace while the kids hang out upstairs in their own den with a TV and bean bag chairs. The open kitchen, dining, and living space makes it easy to share meals and laughter together.

A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.
You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.
