Buen hotel en el centro de Bogota

I’ll start by giving credit where it’s due: the owners did a nice job restoring and decorating this old, historic property. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end for us. We booked a **premium room**, which according to Expedia is not the less expensive room categories. What we got was a third-floor room with **no elevator**, directly next to and almost above the main street. The room had no proper windows—only wooden panels with large gaps and openings all around them. It felt like we were sleeping outside on the street. The noise was excessive and made it very difficult to rest. I explained to the young woman at the front desk that my wife had a knee injury and that climbing several flights of stairs was difficult for her. I also explained that the room was extremely noisy. Her rude ponse was basically, *“That’s the room category you chose, and there’s nothing I can do.”* No effort was made to find another room, offer a solution, or even show any concern about the situation. The attitude at the front desk was just as disappointing as the room itself. We stayed one night because we had no practical alternative at that point, but we had to check out the following day and lost the remaining night of our reservation. **The hotel offered absolutely nothing in return—not even an attempt to make things right.** The breakfast buffet was extremely limited, and the bathroom was one of the smallest I’ve ever seen.

La atención fue excelente, sobre todo los servicios de transporte entre la torre principal y la torre 2, llegaban muy rápido tan pronto se necesitaban. Sin embargo el servicio de restaurante no fue el mejor, la primera noche la cena tomo más de una hora en llegar, luego ocurrió lo mismo en el desayuno por lo que al final decidí tomar mis comidas fuera del hotel lastimosamente. Del resto todo lo demás estuvo bien. Lastima la atención del restaurante
