The accommodation was very excellent, especially the receptionist named "Neivy" very attentive, very helpful, I have no word to say how well they treated me at the hotel, the administrator was very good, all 5 stars, take care of your money and do not hire the services on a trip to "machu-ppichu" and other places, from "señor karim", he is a scammer with the face of a very serious man, I hope the same does not happen to you, if you hire him, have "good luck".
It is a lovely small property with more of an apartment vibe than a hotel. They keep the front door locked but someone is always there to let you in. I went in winter and there is no heating in the room but the staff was very kind to lend me a space heater, have to ask for it though. They also offered a Cocoa Tea when I checked in and were pretty accommodating of my needs overall.
The only thing that wasn't the property's fault but the person next door kept blasting music very early in the AM - with no regard to anyone. Gotta love those folks.
I stayed here at the beginning of June (their winter) for 4 nights. This is not a hotel I would recommend to anyone. Please, let me explain. The hotel has NO heat. I woke up to 39°F. The windows in the bathroom are louvered or jalousied windows. They don’t close the whole way which makes the room even more cold. I thought I could warm up by taking a hot shower, but there was NO hot water. Finally on the third day, we figured out that if you want hot water, you have to take a shower late in the afternoon when no one was there.
We told the staff that we didn’t need house keeping while we were there, yet ever day they entered our rooms just to make the bed. They didn’t replace any towels or sheets. On the third day we asked for clean towels and the lady was upset that we asked for clean towels.
All of the electrical outlets were loose. If you plugged something in, you had to move it around to a certain angle to get it to work and hopefully it didn’t fall out.
For breakfast they served cold coffee and a cold one egg omelet with bread.
The overall general appearance of the hotel is updated (not the windows) and clean. This hotel also has good WiFi.
I know the hotel industry has struggled throughout this pandemic. I hope I have explained this hotel well and it gives you an idea of what to expect.
It is a family owned business. All the people are friendly and can help for all the questions. The location is quiet and it is very convenient to the central plaza. The cost is reasonable to compare with the location.
I am highly recommend it.
The place was lovely and very center to stay. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. The place did not always have hot water for the shower but considering the weather is very jot there, it was not a big issue.
Be cautious about their hidden service charges for booking, laundry and exchange rate. They charged overwhelmingly compared to local market. For booking, exchange rate and price match, check in at main square area. Poor customer service. Very low English communication. Far below average breakfast. Shower door was missing in washroom. Early morning and late night noise. To Solo Bcakpackers: think twice atleast before booking this place. Sharing it out of care for solo travelers.
My time in Cusco, was made even better by the people at this hotel. Initially, I thought it might be a bit far from city center, but I thoroughly enjoyed the short walk to and from. The rooms were clean, the staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and capable. The beds were comfortable and the shower had hot water (a little temperamental when really busy). There is a fair amount of city noise and dogs barking at night, but this is not unique to this hotel. Soon, the breakfast area, which is open and spacious, will serve other meals as well. I truly felt at home here during my 7 night stay.
so place was like a party house! non stop noise, if u plan to do hiking as i did, this is not for you! i have called reception for couple of times however they didn’t bother to calm the other people so i had thank god ear plugs and pills to sleep! as well the curtains are not the best the light comes in and is turned on always
they clean the room, bed is comfortable and is good location
hope this will help and i wont be back here for sure!
Good experience but description needs verification
Nice location, great staff, beautiful property, great view of cascada del Inca, great wifi. Lots of barking dogs day and night. Rooms do not have heat, but they provided a space heater upon request. As seen in the pic, blinds are not room darkening. Room is very bright both day and night. No coffee shop or restaurant on property as indicated in hotels.com.
I enjoyed the 2nights stay at this hotel. Not only the room is clean and well-organized, but staffs are super-friendly and supportive, especially Mr. Tito. Since I was in bad shape when I arrived at the hotel due to higher altitude and muscle aches from a Machu Picchu mountain hike, he offered me a coca tea, a ride to a restaurant... etc. His sympathy and hospitality are deeply appreciated. Tour booking is available (I booked a Cusco city tour with a good price), laundry service is fast, breakfast is awesome. I wish I could have stayed one more night.
The hotel is in a good location, offering quietness of a half-hill residential area while perfectly being within walking distance from downtown Cusco.
The wifi is strong. The water in the shower room is hot.
The best part is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They are all very polite. Special compliment should go to Tito (apologies if the name is mis-spelt), the very helpful man who works hard to make sure all guests are well attended to and feel at home during their stay.
I would certainly recommend this accommodation to my fellow travellers.
