This compact area means everything is within walking distance of the trails and any local eateries. For couples and nature enthusiasts, this central area is ideal. It provides the convenience of being just steps away from the waterfalls and the opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings.

The best time to go to Cuevas is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, the weather is generally sunny and pleasant, with lower humidity and less chance of rain. This makes it ideal for exploring the natural caves, hiking the trails, and enjoying the outdoor scenery without the disruption of heavy downpours. The drier conditions also mean that the paths and cave entrances are more accessible and less muddy. While the wet season (November to April) brings lush greenery, it also comes with higher temperatures, increased humidity, and frequent rain, which can make outdoor activities less comfortable and potentially affect accessibility to some areas.
