For cleanliness I give it about a 6.5/10. Definitely wear socks on the carpet. The staff were wonderful! The pool is nice. The breakfast is really good too. If you’re looking for a quick trip (we stayed 3 nights) it’s a great hotel to stay

I was very disappointed with our stay. First, I don’t understand why a guest who uses a wheelchair would be assigned a room at the very end of a long hallway instead of being placed closer to an exit or a more accessible location. It would take a disabled person longer to get to the exit. What upset me the most happened when I was on my way to the pool to watch my grandchildren. I was in my wheelchair with my service dog, who was wearing a vest clearly identifying him as a SERVICE DOG. A hotel employee who was emptying the trash cans approached me and loudly told me that I couldn’t have my “emotional support dog” with me. A service dog and an emotional support animal are not the same thing. The employee then claimed he was “with the ADA,” which I knew was not true. He continued questioning me in front of my family and other guests, speaking loudly enough to embarrass me. My granddaughter was able to get his name. Hotel employees should be properly trained on the laws regarding service animals. There are only two questions that staff may ask in certain situations, and this employee clearly did not understand the difference between a service dog and an emotional support animal. Regardless of the circumstances, guests with disabilities deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, not singled out and publicly embarrassed. I have reported this incident because I believe it was handled inappropriately. I sincerely hope the hotel provides better training to the trash men.
