Croydon has a bit of bad rap, I've never had any issues with the area and happily stay in the area anytime I'm in London

It was a pleasant experience to be in Croydon. I was able to walk around and explore on my own. It was also very easy to take the train into London.
Was convenient for visiting friends in the area and a short train ride to London.
We had a nice time in Croydon. We loved the farmers market with the fresh fruits.
Nicely decorated for Christmas a couple shopping malls right by us easy access to trains if needed
