Crestwood Vacation Packages

A hidden gem in the Forest Park area of St. Louis. Had no idea it was there. Close to zoo, art museum, the U.City Loop and other attractions. Easy Metro ride to see a Cards game if you catch the U.City Loop train. Great small pub just off the lobby with excellent fish n' chips, toasted ravioli and a delicious and hearty breakfast buffet that is way better than a typical chain hotel. You have to pay a bit for it, but it's worth it. Highly recommend.

Everything was good, except the air conditioning was so loud,we couldn't sleep at all.

The location was good and the place was fine and spacious and creatively decorated. But we were in a suite and there were no linens for the couch bed. I had to ask 4x over several hours before they finally brought them. We also had a problem with a fire alarm beeping and had to ask 3x to get it dealt with. Even after they replaced the battery, it began beeping again so we removed the battery ourselves.

The Cheshire is an interesting experience. It is definitely one-of-a-kind. The problem is that the rooms are outdated. The a/c in my room was very loud. The ceiling tiles were dirty. The walls are very thin and I could hear everything the neighbor was saying. The pool is nice but is loud if your room faces it. Parking is convenience. Breakfast is average hotel continental breakfast - nothing special. The pub is cool. The place needs a refresh and an update, which can be accomplished while maintaining its cool medieval throwback vibe.

The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are nicely laid out. However, for the price it is not worth it. You cannot get breakfast until 8 am, there is no shuttle service anywhere and no formal parking format. For the price you pay and the "resort fee" you would expect a valet or some sort of structured parking arrangement.
