Room was clean and the hotel was very accommodating to my dog

The view was absolutely stunning and front porch was amazing. The property and room however were not great. There was open excavation work going on right by the dome, and random wires and u used equipment just randomly laying around. The flooring in the dome was very tore up, the insulation wasn’t fully painted and the original outdoor fireplace was broken so they just placed another one on top instead of disposing the broken one. The overall idea was good, but it felt like we weee deceived by resort and luxury language. This was run down, and very messy and dirty.

We had a very disappointing stay. We booked a non-smoking room and checked in after 11:00 p.m., so we went straight to bed without looking around the room. During the night, both of our kids kept coughing, and we couldn't figure out why. In the morning, we realized my husband's pillow smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We also discovered that the window had been left open, and there was cigarette ash on the windowsill. This was especially frustrating because we specifically reserved a non-smoking room. The room clearly did not feel fresh or properly prepared for new guests. We expected a clean, smoke-free environment for our family and were very disappointed with the experience. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to provide a refund or take responsibility for the condition of the room. We expected much better customer service and a clean, non-smoking room for our family. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below our expectations, and we would not stay here again.
