We were able to take day trips into Williamsport (about 40 minutes away), as well as Little Pine State Park (25 minutes), and the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania (about 40 minutes). Huge yard with room for whatever type of "backyard" games you could think of. Creek right in backyard perfect for fishing and swimming. The cabin itself feels "rustic" yet modern with fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, cable TV and wifi. The area feels fairly remote but still within 15-30 mins for a gas or grocery store. However, the host did have a supply of items you may need in a pinch which was thoughtful and convenient.
