The staff were friendly and willing to assist, going the extra mile to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was delightful, and the atmosphere at the bar in the evening was friendly and warm. Our room was clean, well-presented and comfortable, with a door opening out onto the lawn and allowing us to access the gorgeous vista outside! Wouldn't go back The room didn't have a fridge or a microwave so you either had to eat in town or buy (the super expensive) dinners from the hotel kitchen. The rooms also didn't have a TV so don't go unprepared without a book or something! Michelle the Hotel manager at the time of my stay was very warm, caring and welcoming that made a huge difference as it made this feel more like a HOME as opposed to a hotel room. Michelle catered for my late arrival by ensuring that my room key was available and that my transition would be easy. Michelle also greeted my son and I at the breakfast table in he morning and she spent a little time getting to know us and didn't brush us off and this was appreciated. She was also accessible on the phone and provided great assistance with any concern i had. The facilities and games room were enjoyable and we enjoyed the table tennis. The fire places in the communal lounge were excellent, sleeping wasn't an issue as the place and residents were quiet and well behaved. The morning views are breath taking and exquisite. The wildlife all around the hotel was fabulous and we saw many Kangaroos, wombats and 2 emus. All in all i would highly recommend and stay at this facility again as my son had the best nights sleeps here compared to other venues we booked in the past.
