Self check in & codes sent to access the property (There are 2 lifts, so make sure you take the right one) Safe in the room but i could not open it and got no response to my query which is why i gave 4 stars not 5. I would recommend & stay again as its great for a short city break. "

"Lovely hotel with polite and helpful staff. Pool area was a highlight. Gym also looked great but didn’t have time to use it. Good location close to a Lidl and train station but also walkable to the river if you don’t mind a walk down the hill. Would recommend."

"We had an enjoyable stay in a one-bedroom apartment with a city-view balcony. The balcony was quite small, but just about accommodated the two of us. However, we were disappointed as we chose this hotel specifically for its pool and spa facilities. The spa turned out to be only a treatment room, and the pool was closed for refurbishment. As a result, there was a noticeable amount of noise, particularly on one day when it felt more like a building site. If you are going check if the pool work is complete. It is in a convenient location. 2 minutes walk from the water front of Gaia where you can look onto beautiful Porto or 20 minutes to cros the river and you are there. Nice small restaurants in the street are more reasonable and better quality than those on the front. You can walk very easily or there is a good metro network. Ebike cycle tour is a must."

"The location is average and the service is acceptable. Although the room is quite spacious, the soundproofing is very poor—you can easily hear normal conversations from the neighboring room. Fortunately, I booked a unit with a large living room, so I was able to sleep there the next night."
