Home Sweet Home is located five minutes from the Cosby Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and less than 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. White Water Rafting is only a short drive (20 mins) away in Hartford, TN. Restaurants and supermarkets in Newport are a scenic 15 min drive. The host was welcoming and very quick to respond, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The cabin was well equipped, cozy, and comfortable, and the sound of the creek was incredibly calming. After each morning of hiking, we rested on the back porch while listening to the creek as it rolled by. The cabin was clean, the property was amazing and just like it was pictured. It was close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Loved sitting by the creek, or just sitting on the back porch listening to the creek and the sounds of nature, it was so peaceful. The hot tub was awesome as well. The owner was very helpful when we had a problem with the TV. He responded quickly and had great communication. There is a Dollar General across the street for any last minute needs. Went to the AJ Bush Bean museum/ restaurant and store, it was a pleasant surprise. Food was great!! The cabin was comfortable but only had the basics in the kitchen. I like to cook some of our meals and the frying pan was not great, not enough pots and things were not cleaned. Some of the dishes were dirty, coffee maker and the toaster were not cleaned. I do feel bad writing this but I know I would want to know. Other then that it was a nice cabin and a good location. My grand daughter and I made some awesome memories 😊 ##### Debra H.
