I loved the laundry, pool and spacious rooms. Slept comfortably in the beds. WiFi worked great and the TV had the game on. What more could I ask for?

Chosen for being walking distance (~ 1 mile) to Alton Baker Park for Concert at Cuthbert Amphitheatre via DeFazio Bike/Foot-Bridge over Willamette River. We chose cheapest room ("Jackson") which turned out to be tiny, in a smaller house across driveway from the main Campbell House; the Inn comprises a cluster of historic old houses up on the old-town hillside edge (where the W. River cuts thru middle of Eugene), now in the shadow of a rather out-of-place high-rise apartment building; walking distance from 5th Street Shops Mall and at least two excellent restaurants (Cornocopia burger bar, and Jade Dumpling Asian cuisine) trackside near Amtrack station. Our one-night stay after the concert was restful, the grounds are lovely, treed and replete with flowers and peaceful places to sit among the gardens. The desk clerk wasn't friendly, and the waitress forgot our order for an hour, so inexperienced help was not a smart budget cut. Still, it was a decent B&B experience, and next time we see a show at Cuthbert we'll stay at Campbell House again, but spring for a better room. We found no worry walking back after the show, the path was adequately lit, and we'll walk to/from again. We recommend this B&B and the restaurants mentioned.

It was clean and comfortable. The host met me outside for the keys each time. The area seemed dark and sketchy, so I parked near the office where there was light. I felt safe. I had a nearly full-size refrigerator and a separate sink area, and it really was great. The only thing it didn't have—that I do look for now—is wood floors. The room is carpeted. However, it was conveniently located near the airport, clean, and reasonable. I would stay again. The filter light was ON on the AC, so I did clean the filter, but that's an easy oversight. I just wanted to be sure I got cool air!"
