"The room had a distinct odor of cigarette smoke but aside from that the hotel was nice and otherwise pretty clean. The location right off I-90 was perfect and plenty of places close by for gas and food before getting back on the road. If we ever come this way again I would definitely stay again."

"Solo traveler here who stayed a couple days in Erie. I've chosen this hotel a few years in a row when visiting and it's perfect for my needs. Free parking, only about a 15 minute drive to the beaches on Presque Isle, and easy walking distance to all of the downtown and bayfront amenities. Clean room, staff is always very friendly and helpful, spacious fridge, microwave. If all you need is a clean, safe, and reliable place to stay while visiting the area, this is the perfect choice."

"The staff were very friendly and treated you like family more than just guests. For a hotel near the lake, it wasn't a bad stay. Our room was clean enough where we felt comfortable staying. It was damp feeling when we first arrived but again, we were staying by the lake. We stayed for two nights and they offered a "grab and go" breakfast which was simple things like coffee, cereal, toast and pre packaged breakfast pastries. The second night we stayed, there was a leak in the bathroom which I was told was from the toilet, it supposedly has a cup that needs to be emptied ever so often. Anyways, my only real complaint was that the staff were nowhere to be found in the morning when I needed something. They have a sign up at the desk to pick up the phone and it would automatically call them to signal that someone was at the front desk. But I had been waiting for 15 minutes and no one showed up, not even housekeeping. Overall, I wouldn't expect a clean or well serviced hotel like the Marriott but it serves its purpose as a motel."
