This was a wonderful house and location. Short walk to the beach, quiet and cozy. All the amenities you would want and need at the beach.

I wanted to love this house. We were so excited. We love this neighborhood! We had an overall okay experience but there were pros and cons. Pros: Location of the home is resonable to beach access.The home is spacious.The master bathroom shower is great. Cons: The stairs weren’t vacuumed upon arrival. Our socks also picked up a lot of dirt when walking through the house with no shoes. Some of the bedroom linens have wash stains from bleach or cleaners. Bathroom linens were not included in the rental but were available for an additional fee. The “master bedroom” bed is on wheels. The mattress in all rooms over all aren’t comfortable.There is a lot of decorative clutter. A lot of personal family pictures etc. Most of the kitchen cabinets are full to capacity of mismatched dishes, leaving no room for food/pantry items. The utensil drawers had debri in them.The fridge is outdated. The rugs in-front of the patio doors upstairs have no grip & are fall uphazards. Especially for children or older people. All of the couch cushions were flipped “zipper side” up and pillows were just thrown around. We couldn’t find a broom to sweep throughout the week. The washing machine made our clothing smell musty. We paid a cleaning fee; but there were tip envelopes on the counter. (And the floors weren’t clean upon arrival) The outside trash cans were full, smelled and attracted flies. Compared to some horror stories I’ve seen about houses online, I know it could be worse.

Family Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Terrific for a large family with wonderful spaces to enjoy together. The home is perfectly located in a neighborhood that provides beach access within a 10 minute walk, a small walk for coffee and ice cream, and cute playground with tennis and basketball courts just across the street. All of the outdoor decks, pool and hot tub are perfect if it may be a rainy day.

Beach week 2022

The house was spacious and had a nice layout. The house didn't appear to have been cleaned prior to check in and there wasn't enough seating on the decks or at the pool to accommodate a family and make it feel more welcoming. We enjoyed our stay in the area and had a great time overall. Our only complaint was the cleanliness and somethings are old and tattered.

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK

My wife and I arrived only to be greeted by an INFESTATION of spiders. I can understand a few here and there, it happens. But this was no normal amount of "seasonal" insects. The place had clearly been neglected for MONTHS as I spent the first two days of our stay pressure washing and treating the house for spiders just so we could enjoy our stay. Brenda, the property manager at Carolina Shores Realty could not care less, and lied to our faces whenn she said she would make it right. Our fridge was running at 58°, which is well over the FDA standards for keeping food safe to eat. Noone came out to fix the fridge until 3 days into our stay, and we could not store or buy ANY FOOD until day 3. Thanks Brenda! 1/10 would NOT rent again from them, like EVER.

House was great! Pool, decks, overall great living space. Pics did not show new houses in back and was 1/4 walk/drive to park and 5 min walk to beach.. no public restrooms either.

We absolutely loved this property. It had everything we needed for our stay. We would recommend this property to our friends and would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion we would make is that the wifi was weak, but that didn't hamper our good time.
