This vacation spot is Simply A-Mazzing with beautiful and serene beaches! Make family memories frolicking in the ocean with the kids or just laying back and inhaling the fresh salty air. Close to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and all the Corolla attractions including the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Corollas wild horses, Currituck Lighthouse and the Center for wildlife education.

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a grill area with gas grill and grill table, outside shower and parking for 4 cars. Entry Level. Inside you'll find the laundry area with stacked washer and dryer and a spiral staircase to the mid level.

Mid Level: Queen Bedroom with TV and deck access that shares a full Jack-n-Jill bathroom with a Bedroom with a Queen/Queen Bunk Set and deck access. Queen Bedroom with a TV that shares a full Jack-n-Jill bathroom with another Bedroom with DuoBunk and Single. Hallway access to mid level decks and spiral stairs to the top level.

Top Level: Open Great room with TV, game table seating 4 and deck access. Kitchen with pantry and dining room seating 8 and deck access. King Bedroom with deck access and a semi-private full bathroom (second door from bathroom to living areas).

Extras: Private Pool (25 x 12), 4 TVs, high-speed internet access, gas grill, outside shower and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. Dogs Welcome. Full week rentals only. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Perfect family vacation

The house had a great location with less than 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was clean and great for a family vacation. Neighborhood was quiet and family oriented.

Perfect location

Awesome location - much closer to the beach than we anticipated - and loved the proximity to the Harris Teeter Shopping Center. The pool was great and we enjoyed hanging there and on the top balcony. I do think renters should know that the metal spiral staircase is quite narrow and is the only means of going up and down between the three floors of the house from inside (we primarily used the steps outside of the house). Also, the house advertises that renters have access to four beach chairs but only two were usable. Pleasantly surprised by the updated bathrooms - the pictures do not show how nice they are! Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the Ocean Sands community.

Wonderful Week

We had a great week! House was clean and in a great area. The house was recently renovated with new flooring, new bathrooms, freshly painted, new living room sofas so the pictures don’t do it justice! They need to update the interior pictures! It was an easy 5 min walk to beach! Also walkable was a grocery store, ice cream shop, and especially Duck Donuts! And even a small brewery, Off the Wall Taphouse! It was great to have the Pool at the house too. A nice way to cool off after a day at the beach. It was also dog friendly and we had our 2 pups with us and they got to enjoy the beach everyday. I would definitely stay again! They just need to get a recycling bin. We called the property manager when we were there but they never responded or dropped one off. We felt bad mixing recycling in with regular trash.

Great value!

Great value! Pool was very clean & was a great touch to our vacation! Spiral staircases were tough to navigate at times, but you can walk outside to walk up & down the stairs. Plenty of room for a big family! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes & pans for cooking. Narrow kitchen made it hard for multiple people to be in there at a time. All in all, great house for the money!!

Great house & location

Overall We really loved our stay at Ocean Sands - Simply Amazing. Great location, very close to beach and the grocery store and restaurants were right across the street. I would say the only negative was the spiral staircase, thankfully the house came with baby gates that we could block off for our dog as we were nervous with her going down and falling. Luckily it was easy to go outside and go upstairs that way versus having to walk the dog up the spiral stairs. The house was very spacious, lots of kitchen essentials. Just a note you have to bring everything when it comes down to things like trash bags and salt/pepper, I guess we had been spoiled staying in different rentals in recent experience where those things were provided. All in all a wonderful stay, and would definitely rent again!

Great Stay

Overall the property is in pretty great condition for a beach house. It looks fresh on the outside with typical beach cottage amenities on the inside. Spiral staircase was a concern but I discovered child gates within the house (concern averted)! The pool was immaculate, although it was a bit too cold to use sadly. It was a short walk to the beach and within walking distance to a grocery store, bar/pub, and shops. Overall great experience! Only negative would be what appears to be shortcut contractor work on the newly renovated decking. Some places were sagging and others had places large enough for a toddler’s foot to fit through (on the steps). Otherwise, super pleased!
