This 4-bedroom, three-level townhouse in the heart of Corolla with all of the amenities of the Corolla Light resort will be sure to provide for an amazing Outer Banks vacation! From the Beacon Villas neighborhood, a direct sidewalk leads to the nearby Shad Street beach access, less than a half mile away, perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride. Alternatively, guests can utilize the public parking lot on Shad Street for easy access by car. The whole group will enjoy full access to all the amenities at the Corolla Light Resort. Enjoy the myriad activities of the oceanfront entertainment complex as well as the quiet tranquility of soundside walking trails. As you walk into Message in a Bottle, you'll notice the open great room that is awash with coastal yellows and blues, and you will love the warm and welcoming ambiance it creates. The third-level Queen En Suite offers a rare treat - an entire floor to yourself! This property has 4 parking spots for guests. As part of the Corolla Light community, you and your group enjoy access to the many fabulous amenities. The resort encompasses 240 acres and is considered to be the most family-friendly resort on the Outer Banks. Corolla Light is home to some of the best beaches anywhere on the Outer Banks and they are patrolled by lifeguards during the summer season. The three air-conditioned Corolla Light trolleys run every 20-25 minutes during the summer season. Getting around the resort is so easy! Just pick up the trolley at the stop close to Message in a Bottle and off you go! We enjoyed all the spaces, my only critique is that the mattresses seemed old and not very plushy or comfortable. Hot tub was nice too. The location was convenient to the resort pool and to the beach, just make sure you drive to the parking lot by 9:30 am on a summer day if you want a great parking space. Otherwise you can ride the trolley or go to the public access beach parking. We were early risers so we had no trouble getting a good parking space. Pools and grounds were beautiful and lots of shopping and great restaurants to eat dinner at, we will be coming back to Corolla! ##### Christina F. We did the horse tour (which the locals frowned upon-but we didn’t know that), kayaking on the sounds. Both events were fun and fairly inexpensive. I recommend renting bikes to see more during your stay. We had access to two sets of pools which were easy to access with a trolly service that was free. We had easy beach access that was in walking and driving distance- depending on which access you wanted to go to. I with the house supplied a little more toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags There’s a washer and dryer but bring soap. The down comforters were color stained, but clean. The hot tub was very nice and very hot. It’s suggested that you bring all food and drinks you want for the stay. Restaurants are packed, far and few in between and overpriced. Or…plan for one eat out day, and make a reservation far in advance for the place you want to eat. Everything closes early there, so if you are a night person, plan on partying it up at your house after 9 pm. Overall a great experience. I would come back. ##### Kari T.
