The open-concept layout in the top level living area, along with a gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings and an abundance of natural light, creates an ideal space for entertaining and spending quality time with family and friends. There's plenty of room for everyone to help prepare meals in the kitchen, featuring stainless steel appliances and additional seating at the bar. Two master suites, one on each level, provide privacy and retreat. The decks are perfect for outdoor living and overlook a meticulously landscaped yard and pool area. At the end of the day when you get back home, relax by your private pool or soak in the hot tub while you start planning the next day's adventures. During the summer months, getting to the beach is easy with the complimentary trolley and beach valet services (Memorial Day thru Labor Day). The nearest trolley stop is just a short walk away and once you arrive you'll be greeted by a valet who can assist you with carrying all of your gear. But the beach is just the beginning! The Currituck Club offers a variety of other recreation options that will give everyone in your group something to look forward to, including five community pools located throughout the community. The Fitness Center is the hub of all activities in the Currituck Club and provides guests with year-round amenities, making Boromacha an ideal choice for off-season visits. Stay during the Spring or Fall to avoid the crowds while still having access to the gym, clubhouse, tennis courts, volleyball and more. The off-season is also a perfect time of year for golfing, kayaking and exploring Corolla in milder temperatures with a laid-back atmosphere. No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Garage not available for guest use. The distance from the beach was an issue but the shuttle does run every 15 minutes but you have to return by 5:00pm. The property itself and furnishings were very cheaply maintained. If you’re expecting high quality this is not the place. The first 2 days we had no internet so we had to sit and and wait on cable guy for 2 hours (just what you want to do on your vacation). The tv in one bedroom did not work and the 2nd bedroom downstairs has no tv at all. The outside umbrella and a grill were broken and just left on the property. There was another working grill which ran out of gas. No light bulbs in the microwave lights over the stove. There were ants. The dining furniture keep losing screws and the wire mesh at the bottom of the fence was loose and hanging on the sidewalk by the pool and a piece of fence is missing (both could be hazardous to small children). The AC upstairs is completely inadequate and unable to keep up and the upstairs was uncomfortable. The shuttle pickup is a block from the property. The mattresses were very comfortable. The distance to shopping and activities was very nice. The employees at the gulf club were very nice and helpful. Overall experience was just OK. ##### Patrick L. Séjour de 7 nuits en juin 2024 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### LaTonya P. 11 avr. 2023 Points faibles : Propreté #### Poor communication and no pool I contacted Village Realty when we arrived (Monday) regarding the pool being dirty. The next day (Tuesday) I contacted them regarding the pool, ants, and spider webs with bugs. There is no way they perform their due diligence after the cleaning and prior to the guest’s arrival. They informed me the pool had been cleaned and someone would come by to inspect. I contacted them again Wednesday as the pool had bugs and leaves in it, which they told me to use the pool net and clean it. We cleaned the top and my father discovered the filter at the bottom was filled with dead leaves. So no one had cleaned it prior to filling it. We also had to add more water because the pool jets were not covered. So once we removed the leaves from the filter I cleaned it again the next day, which was Thursday. Finally the kids were able to get in. Someone came to inspect the pool later that day and vacuumed it, as they could see it hadn’t been cleaned. They also added more water and chlorine. I contacted the rental company again to complain and was told a manager would call me. It rained Friday so my kids were only able to swim one day of the entire vacation, as we left Saturday. I’m still waiting for management to call. No one has gotten back to me. I contacted them Monday through Friday. Then I receive a text asking me how was my stay. I said I’m still waiting for management to call to which I was told they would let them know. I will not be using them again and I do not recommend them! ##### LaTonya P.
