A beautiful resort in the cloud forest with a breathtaking view of the valley. It only has about 7 cabins of varying interesting yet comfortable designs that is designed around the contour of the land. The view by the pool is simply breath taking. The dining / social hall is beautifully decorated and crafted with various activity choices. The breakfast included is just beautiful and tastefully prepared fresh in front of guests. They have a dedicated coffee table where drinks are made by grinding select coffee beans, brewed meticulously and then served. Very special. The staff are very attentive and helping guests over and above what's expected. They made sure we found a transport back to La Paz when it was apparent that not many buses /vans are going due to the weekend election. But it wants to be high end and doesn’t hit the mark. It needs more attention to detail (bins not emptied, bed throws smelt damp, rooms were cold, only one hairdryer for the whole place, food inconsistent in quality). Staff are pleasant and try hard but not quite on it re service levels. The reception and restaurant area are nicely designed but would benefit from some homely touches eg blankets & heaters for the cool evenings and mornings. Breakfasts were good. A really relaxed stay in Coroico. You can’t help but chill out here. The staff are friendly and attentive. It takes a moment to understand how they do things. On arrival, you receive a mobile phone. Communication goes through that which means ordering meals, requesting services etc. There is also a small fridge at the pool you can take a drink from and write it down. It’s important to chill here. Upright wont work; which is great! There is a sunset to die for at the swimming pool! The coffee is very good, as you’d expect and there is a good variety of decent teas. The dinner menu is limited but delicious! We thoroughly recommend a glass of wine and dinner chilling by the pool in the evening. We stayed in the cabin. You feel part of nature here. The bathroom is separate but right next door (and private). The bed was super comfy. Take a coat and insect repellent. We stayed in August and needed both (coat in evening). El hotel esta toralmente sumergido en la naturaleza ademas tiene una vista increible desde la piscina, la habitacion que me toco, es muh comoda en todo sentido. La ubicacion es perfecta ya que esta cerca del pueblo pero a la vez esta totalmente aislado.
