It's a lovely looking historical building , the rooms are massive and spotlessly clean it has all the mod cons you need for a weekend visit or a long stay. For such a large room it did not have one speck of dust anywhere, bathroom well equipped with everything you need and towells were massive. "Right downtown and near pubs, restaurants, shopping centre, and the major pedestrian shopping streets. The stairs up can be as much as 5 flights, old and narrow. City noise is prominent but you are choosing this place for the location right downtown. Staff was very friendly. No onsite breakfast but it’s because you have so many restaurants nearby. "We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation.
