Just a five minute drive to the nearest beach Faliraki, a fifteen minute drive to Corfu town and a few minutes walk to Achillios Palace. There is also public transport to take you to Corfu town. Meet the locals ,enjoy long walks around the village, visit historic monuments, buy fresh bread from the local bakery,try local food. The house is special which provides comfort and privacy to the tenants. You can use the garden to relax, read a book or have lunch under the large impressive cypress tree. A small barbecue area is also available for those who want to cook their own charcoal dinner. Excellent finishing materials, wooden floors, fireplace, central heating make this property ideal for long stays even during the non-touristy summer months. It has four bedrooms, all of which offer panoramic views of Corfu Town stretching along the north coast of Corfu, Mount Agioi Deka and the surrounding villages. On the first floor, the house has a separate bedroom with a double bed and bathroom, two bedrooms with a bathroom and w. c and a double bedroom on the second floor sleeping two, its own bathroom, w. c and a private terrace with a wonderful sea and mountain view. A modern kitchen with dining area, equipped with electric cooker and oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer is located on the ground floor where you can prepare your meals and serve them in the dining area or in the garden under the large cypress tree. A small barbecue area is also available for those who want to cook their own charcoal dinner. In the village of Gastouri you will find a tavern serving traditional home cooked food , a bakery and a coffee/bar. Only a few minutes drive and you can reach Benitses where you will find a wide variety of good quality restaurants and bars and cafes as well as the new marina. Ideal location for those who enjoy long country walks and hiking as well as mountain biking ans water sport activities. La maison très belle, avait absolument tous les ustensiles pour cuisiner , des gels douches, des produits ménagers, des serviettes etc… Les ventilateurs de très bonne qualité ont pu remplacer la climatisation absente. We were touched that Elena had provided some food given that our flight arrived late. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Corfu and it was great to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the beachside resorts and return to the peace and quiet of the villa in an authentic Greek village. The villa is only a short drive from Corfu Town. Ekena was happy to deal with all our questions and provided useful advice on the local area. Aug 18, 2017 #### Villa bellissima La villa non e' del tutto indipendente ma e' bifamiliare mentre sull'annuncio si capiva che fosse singola.Nonostante cio', i proprietari che vivono a fianco ,non fanno sentire la loro presenza. Tutto perfetto ,anche la tolleranza nel lasciare la casa(noi avevamo la nave di sera e ci hanno permesso di lasciare la casa in prima serata senza alcun problema. L'unica nota negativa, sono i bagni.Ne sono 4 ma in pratica solo 2 utilizzabili,quello in mansarda in pratica non ha una doccia (troppo piccolo lo spazio); quello al piano terra non funziona lo sciacquone e quindi non utilizzabile.
