The hotel is very nice, in a nice location, the staff is trying, heated pool, nice beach. But what completely ruined my impression was the buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was not good, cold, the fish was dried out, the salmon was overcooked, the pork pieces were not good, there was almost no side dish to choose from, no complete salads, just awful! I would not dine here again!!!

The team at reception were not friendly, not efficient, and not capable. The first 3 things they (it was 4 people talking to each other behind the reception desk and not in English and obviously talking about me) told me was: NO swimming in the pool cuz it closed at 6pm (actually closes at 7pm). NO dinner reservations at the à la carte restaurant in-house. NO free room upgrade. This was followed by 3 fake information: There is no earlier email from reservation department of Domes Hotel that would ‘try their utmost to upgrade me for my 30th anniversary’ Hotel is 100% sold out for Saturday 2 May 2026. The reservation manager was in a meeting at 9:40am on Sunday 3 May 2027 (probably late for work?). So the total number of hours I was at Domes was 39 hours, of which 20 were sleeping. Of the remaining 19 hours, I spent at least 2 hours waiting for any and every different staff of reception to inform me whether or not I ‘could’ change from the sewerage smelling room they gave me the night before. At first, the response was wait and let me get maintenance to have a look (as if this was a new and sudden problem when in reality, it was sewerage pipes build horizontally instead of at a slant inside the floors from the date the hotel was built). This pre existing problem should have been known to the team at reception and yet they intentionally stuck me in the smelly room for 1 night. This all happened on my only full day in Corfu. No member of reception staff was effective.

Leider keine Möglichkeiten, um außerhalb des Hotels etwas zu unternehmen - während das Freizeitangebot auf der Hotelanlage ebenfalls sehr begrenzt war. Das Speiseangebot ist nicht groß und mit hohen zusätzlichen Kosten verbunden. Am Pool waren die Liegen täglich morgens bereits besetzt, sodass man nur die Möglichkeit hatte, an den Strand zu gehen. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde der Feuermelder drei mal ausgelöst (Fehlalarm). Die Dusche war leider extrem laut, die Müllabfuhr hat um Mitternacht den Müll geholt, weswegen eine ruhige Nacht nicht möglich war. Die Sauberkeit war gegeben und das Personal meist hilfsbereit.

We have loved the hotel! It is the ideal resort to travel with kids. The kids club and the teachers there are wonderful and so great with the kids. Beds were comfortable and the food was decent. The entire staff made our experience unforgettable.

The staff were lovely , very friendly and did their best to assist where they could. The rooms are a big let down , definitely not 5 star. Very small and pokey , bathroom basic and dated … could barely walk around the end of the bed … small balcony sea view but overlooking a building flat roof ! Food 6/10 …. The hotel has very pleasant public spaces but there is a lack of attention to detail a 4 star hotel at best .

It’s not clean at all. The cleaner didn’t even wipe the bathroom floor and kept on forgetting to refill the towels. The sun bed were so dirty. Everyday we had to wipe it ourselves. Many parts of the resort were broken for example the toilet flushing buttons and the toilet locks on many floors of the common toilets.

Beautiful property, mediocre food situation

Dome is beautiful- it's on a quiet, lovely beach with lovely views. The property is gorgeous. They upgraded our room- so it was large with a balcony overlooking the water (thank you, Domes!). The main issue was the food- which other reviewers mention as well. The main restaurant is a buffet- which we do not love. The buffet food was okay and there were lots of kids (there is an adult seating section- thankfully). It's really hard to get reservations in the other restaurants on property- you have to call 4+ days in advance, and we were not there in high season. I can't imagine high season. I wish the hotel were more guest-centered in their approach- they put it on us that we hadn't made reservations 4 days in advance- but we were only there for 2 days.... I think they should re-think that to be more guest-centric. There are some wonderful places in Pelekas to try- but you have to drive 10-15 minutes. If you are okay with buffets or off property dining- this place is perfect.

I loved my stay here. It’s more family oriented I feel, so plenty of infants but not so overwhelming. The staff was very welcoming, accommodating and just beyond nice. It was clean. The food, the buffet, the views, and the amenities in general, were all great. I really enjoyed the live music they had as well, nice little touch. My only hang up was the smoking. Never smoked a cigarette in my life but felt like I couldn’t get away from them. I was gassed by them on the beach, beach bar, restaurant. Anywhere outside pretty much. Not fully the resorts fault, more the people with no regard for others. I would love to see designated areas for smokers though, it really hit me. But outside of that…can’t wait to come back.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel with my sister. The staff are very courteous and friendly. We had booked half board. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. There were always different variations, especially in the evening. The quality of the bar was also a 10/10. It's located right by the sea, which is just fantastic. There are also sun loungers available that are exclusively for hotel guests. If you want a party vacation, you won't find it here. But it is 100% recommended for relaxing. I felt very comfortable and would come back at any time.
