Copano Village Vacation Packages

We had a really good stay at Monterrey. The staff was kind, brought in new towels, emptied the trash and cleaned the floors each morning (HUGE thank you since sand gets EVERYWHERE!). The beds were comfortable with soft pillows so we slept well. Our only issues was the water pressure was not great so showering took a long time but at least we got clean, lol. Also, the pictures show full sized fridges but they're mini fridges. I packed meals for our stay so had to do some tetris action to make it work. So heads up there. All in all, my family and I had a wondeful stay and would stay again! Thank you Monterrey 😊

Overall this hotel is great for the price and the room layout was wonderful. Beds were soft, bathroom had good Dove brand minis, and the full size fridge came in handy. AC worked well too! But there were two rather descent drawbacks: 1) The check in was horrible. The woman was very friendly, however we had already paid for our rooms (did so the morning of because someone called stating they had to run the charges or forfeit the room- so I went ahead and let them charge the rooms early) and she and her coworker insisted on swiping my card again stating it was for incidentals. I have fraud alert on my card to go off if anything over a certain limit occurs (especially on vacations-great idea and works well) it went off stating another charge was attempted by the hotel for the nights fee that was already paid. They insisted that’s not what they’re doing but they tried it three different times. I was frustrated, I let them process the charge again but stated if it did not roll off in the morning then it is fraud. They did this for all three rooms. 2) i asked when booking the reservation months ago for the rooms to be together(had 3 then added a fourth last minute). They not only didn’t have them close together but all on different floors. We weren’t thrilled at all. Total check in time took close to 45 minutes. We would recommend the hotel itself but we personally won’t be back due to the service.

We ate breakfast super early & went back to our room. We checked at the front desk to see if we could stay another day, mostly bc I felt sick, but they were booked..understandable, it’s a great hotel. I was feeling really terrible & within a 25 min period between 845 and 915 2 different staff knocked on our door ,the second one knocked & opened our door. Luckily they did not open the door the first time bc I was naked and pooping w/the door open. The cleaning staff were extremely loud in the hallway & yelling over vacuums in the room next door. Check out is at 11, intended on sleeping till 1030. I received a text at 830 am to upgrade our checkout experience… which is what initially woke me up. I texted that number upon check out and the Front desk Manager Erin responded multiple times if she could make my stay more comfortable to let her know. I told her i travel a lot, & would be back in town the week of July 21-25 -this was her response: “ I want to sincerely apologize for the incidents you experienced — especially the intrusion into your room while you were in such a vulnerable state. I can’t imagine how upsetting and uncomfortable that must have been, and I’m truly sorry. I truly apologize again, Mrs. Reid. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there’s anything I can do to make this right. Take care, Erin - Assistant Front Office Manager” I’m like….. make it right by offering some sort of incentives to stay again….? I shouldn’t have to spell it out or ask.

loud random beep. flaky room service. not enough toilet paper. only one trash can, when having to throw it away we had to walk to the big trash can. the door was also ify sometimes wouldn’t close and the handle was hard to push down. on the other hand, there was plenty of good things such as the tv, bed, shower, microwave and fridge. mirrors were clean.
