"What an amazing historic property right in the centre of the old walled city! Restaurant in the centuries-okd refectory served wonderful local food and wines at lunch and dinner. Underground night bar is a hidden gem to find. Parking quirky but so very convenient once you find it!"

"Check in went smoothly, got to our room to discover we did not get our upgrade, the gentleman later was nice and gave us the upgrade, we wanted the upgrade as that's where the coffee was, however, if you want more then the two capsules they give you, they charge you! The room was fine, bar was nice, but amenities were terrible "

Ceser could not have been more kind or helpful. He even offered to come and collect me because I was lost and had walked approx 4km past Grimaldo by mistake. The location is great (right on the Camino de la Plata - despite me gettong lost). The room was warm, clean and very comfortable and simple but beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend. "Comfortable overnight stop. Old Spanish charm . There is on street parking but streets are narrow around the Casa. On arrival you need to contact the signora for entry and she does not speak English but uses a phone app effectively. We were fortunate that a Spanish couple used our phone to contact her . Breakfast was fruit, toast and coffee which is all you need to start the day . There are no other refreshments/ meals available. We slept well and enjoyed the experience. "
