Villas Del Mar6 nights4.0 star property8.0/10 - Very good (2,757 reviews)"The hotel is good. It has excellent facilities, and the food is decent. However, during my stay, there were rules prohibiting the use of vapes, hookahs, and loudspeakers. Despite this, there was a group of people in the pool area making excessive noise and vaping. Security should do a better job of enforcing the rules and paying attention to these situations. Guests come to relax and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, and there should be better control over individuals who drink alcohol and then..."Reviewed November 4, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YYZ) - Santo Domingo (SDQ)YYZ - PUJ • Nonstop PUJ - YYZ • NonstopCA $2,802CA $1,181found 1 day agoper traveller - Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo - Hyatt Inclusive Collection - All Inclusive

Puerto Plata5 nights3.5 star property7.2/10 - Good (516 reviews)"The Staff were rude and disrespectful. We tried to explain the situation amicably but they did not try to compromise or make us their customer feel welcome. We booked a 1000 sq ft room with 2 available beds shown in pictures but instead were given a room less than half the size. Obviously we weren’t happy but instead of trying to solve they escalated the situation by telling us they could not do anything to accommodate the reservation seeing as though the room they gave us only had one bed. Also..."Reviewed October 27, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YYZ) - Santiago de los Caballeros (STI)YYZ - POP • 1 stop POP - YYZ • NonstopCA $2,596CA $1,456found 1 day agoper traveller - Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville - Hyatt Inclusive Collection - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Ramón Santana6 nights4.5 star property8.8/10 - Excellent (2,491 reviews)"Overall a very nice holiday. What was very disappointing is that the pools are only open for a certain time. They claim to have 8 restaurants, we were there for a week and were only able to book 2. We were expecting to be able to try all of them, so that was very sad. The staff were mostly friendly, but not always in the mood to serve. The water from the ocean was not nice at all! Very dirty. The pools were very clean though."Reviewed November 2, 2026Roundtrip • Hamilton (YHM) - Santo Domingo (SDQ)YHM - PUJ • 1 stop PUJ - YHM • 1 stop
