The park is a few Ks west of the town but easy trip into Colac for an impressive choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from - we went Chinese to the Sing Bo and it was great - Lake Colac and the adjacent Botanic Gardens are a treat with lots of activities and birdlife. The park is right on the Highway and could be a noise issue if in the first row - ours was in the third row and not an issue. This is NOT a resort and there is no pool / there is however a small kids playground. A very neat and well kept park catering for camping, caravans, cabin dwellers and has a laundry, camp kitchen/BBQ area. We started the air conditioner which worked but filled the cabin with the stench of cigarette smoke. Beds were very uncomfortable, other cabins/guests were very close and noisy.
