Escape to the Currituck Sound in this 2-bedroom, 1-bath deluxe waterfront pet-friendly vacation rental cabin, offering air-conditioning/heat, two private bedrooms (one with a queen bed, and the other with a single over full bunkbed), full kitchen (with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker), living and dining area (with TV, dining room table, and double sofa), full bathroom (with sink, vanity, toilet, and shower-tub combo), as well as a furnished screened porch, patio (with chairs), charcoal grill, and fire ring. Plus, guests enjoy the waterfront campground's free WiFi and all-inclusive amenities, including fishing piers, boat ramps, playground, volleyball, themed events, daily activities, fishing ponds, nature trails, complimentary use of kayaks, boats, pedal cart track, mini-golf, fishing rods, and more ... all at no additional cost. This time when we checked into our cabin - it was disgusting. The location is beautiful, the campground is nicely laid out, and our pet friendly cottage was clean and spacious! The only recommendation I would have is to call the campground to verify which amenities will be open and operational, and verify the pet fee. Our reservation said the pet fee would be $10/night, but we were charged $50\. I think they should have honored our reservation, but the lady at the front desk said she couldn't do anything about it. Also, the camp store was supposed to be open until after dinner (and the cafe), but closed at 4 p.m. so no one could get food, etc. The arcade was closed for half a day (and several games didn't work, just took your money), and the kayaks/canoes weren't operational. Also, there is no ferry and the bus shuttle wasn't running. I told them they need to update their website with correct information. So, just know ahead of time that you may want to call and confirm details and amenities! Otherwise, you’ll have a great time. ##### Amy S.
