We had ants in the room and had to move to other rooms. The air conditioner was not working . There was a red stain on the floor in one of the rooms. House keeping tried but could not keep up with cleaning all of the rooms. The elevator broke. The ones that worked were slow. The front door broke. The valets for parking were never around.

The resort advertises itself as having three pools and being family-friendly, and that part is true. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The property is very poorly maintained. The resort is dirty, and aside from our room, it was uncomfortably hot throughout the property. The pool area is in desperate need of updates. Much of the furniture is broken, many of the umbrellas are damaged, and there is algae throughout the pools and surrounding areas. Before opening for the season, I would have expected the resort to thoroughly clean the pools and pool deck, but that clearly wasn’t done. The rooms also need significant updating. The bathroom had rust in multiple areas, making it look neglected, and the carpet looked dirty and worn, to the point where it didn’t feel clean. While it is a family-friendly resort, I honestly think spending another $100 would have gotten us a much nicer oceanfront hotel with far better amenities and upkeep. I would not recommend staying here and would not return.
