About this property

Quaint, handicap accessible house in serene Lehigh, classified as a ghost town.

  • This sweet little place is tucked away in a ghost town, Central to several places of interest, making it easy to plan your visit. Within 20 minutes of Atoka, home of Reba‘s place, 45 minutes of Durant and Choctaw Casino – and Tishomingo, home of Ol’ Reds and Blue River. Its’s Handicap assessable.  This little house was built for my Vietnam veteran uncle. He was handicapped and enjoyed his independence. He helped to design the B1 stealth and this home has been decorated in his honor. We lovingly referred to him as Beano. We welcome you to Beano’s Pad and hope you enjoy some history. Note, he did not pass away in his home. His two little dogs have moved across the yard to my home, but they can sometimes be found inside Beano’s Pad if the door is left open.

The fact that it had a history behind it and the town. I did not miss anything from home, well maybe my fur babies, but I could have brought them also. We sat on the porch our last morning there and there is su h a calmness. We will definitely be back. I miss it already!!

What a wonderful quaint little place. So, relaxing. The check-in process was easy- peasy. The kitchen had everything you needed and then some. Wi-fi was a little challenging for me, but that is really on me. Getting to the place was easy. The notebook of historical places and people was nice added touch. It was a very nice relaxing place to stay. The owner did a wonder job of preserving Beano's place for Beano. What a wonderful lovely place.
